This 7 mile long beach was immortalised as the location for speed testing cars and motorbikes, and in more recent times, was regularly used by Top Gear. It also rewards a more leisurely walk.
If retail is your therapy, then you must not miss Llandeilo, with its tempting range of small, independent shops. From designer clothing, interiors and crafts to local food and antiques, this is the antidote to the typical high street clones.
